As a young mum of three boys — Nico, Dylan, and Mylo (my furry boy!) — I noticed something funny: whatever the kids were doing, Mylo wanted to join in.
If they ran through the park, he pulled to follow.
If they jumped on the rope swing, he wanted a turn too!
It got me thinking... was there really anything for dogs beyond the daily walk?
Secure dog fields already existed, but they still focused on “walk your dog.”
I wanted something different — a space where dogs could play, just like children do.
Think of us like a toddler playgroup, but for dogs.
In fact, a lot of our customers call us “Soft Play for Dogs” — and they’re right!
We even started with soft play equipment.
In October 2022, I turned the idea into reality and created Pooch Play Time.
Since then, we’ve welcomed hundreds of dogs, hosted countless joyful play sessions, and watched wonderful friendships form — both canine and human.

My aim is simple:
💛 To give every dog 45 minutes a week to just be a dog.
To play, explore, learn, and socialise at their own pace.
To burn off energy in a way that feels natural and safe.
To come home happy, calm, and fulfilled.
Because dogs deserve more than just walks — they deserve fun, friendship, and freedom too.
My love for dogs goes all the way back to when I was nine years old.
Every Saturday, I begged my nan to take me to our local dogs’ home so I could walk the dogs.
From that moment, I knew I was meant to work with dogs.
It’s been my passion ever since — and now, through Pooch Play Time, I get to live that dream every day.

Pooch Play Time isn’t just about play sessions.
It’s about community, connection, and consistency.
Whether you’ve got a doodle, a dachshund, or a bouncy boxer — we’d love to welcome you into our pack.
💛 Because every dog deserves safe, structured, joyful play.
